The soil.d association (Verein) has just been founded, and we are looking for people to help carry it. Every role here is voluntary and unpaid (ehrenamtlich). What we can offer instead is a say in how the project grows, hands-on work with soil, plants, and monitoring, and a small group that takes urban soil seriously.

The board carries the association together: decisions, finances, the pilot station, and the direction of the programme. Expect roughly 2 to 4 hours a month, plus the meetings we schedule around everyone's availability. Board members are elected by the General Assembly (Generalversammlung) and serve unpaid.

Members vote at the General Assembly and shape what the association does next. Beyond that you help where it suits you: at the circular station, at workshops, or with a pair of hands on a Saturday. There is no fixed time commitment.

For people working in soil science, microbiology, urban ecology, or citizen-science methodology. The advisory board reviews how we design monitoring and how we keep the data honest and usable, so the observations we collect hold up outside our own project. Around 2 to 3 calls a year.

What you send here is used only to process your application. It is not passed on to third parties.
